The Adivasi Sanghatana, Quepem, organised its 16th Meritorious Students Felicitation Function at the Pope John XXIII High School Hall in Quepem, honouring tribal students for their outstanding academic achievements.
The programme was attended by Claude Alvares as the chief guest, while Adv. Norma Alvares graced the occasion as the guest of honour. Vincy Quadros was present as the special invitee.

As many as 103 tribal students who secured more than 60 per cent marks were felicitated during the programme. The awardees included students from Class 10 through the postgraduate level, recognising academic achievement across different stages of higher education.
The annual felicitation programme seeks to acknowledge the hard work and accomplishments of tribal students while encouraging them to pursue academic excellence and aim higher in their educational journeys.
The initiative also highlights the Adivasi Sanghatana’s efforts to motivate young members of the community to excel in education and build a stronger foundation for their future.
