UPI Payment Dispute Turns Violent at Parra Petrol Pump

A dispute over a UPI payment at a petrol pump in Parra, Goa, allegedly turned violent on Monday morning, leaving a staff member with an eye injury. According to staff, two bikers finished refuelling before one allegedly blocked a woman employee from operating the dispenser. An argument followed when she asked them to move their bikes and complete payment. Staff alleged that the confrontation escalated into a fight, with the men using abusive language and attacking employees with punches and kicks. A case has been registered at Mapusa Police Station.
