PANJIM: Former MLA, Victor Gonsalves, condemned the attitude of the Goa government towards beef not being made easily available to the Goan beef eating public.
He said, “Goan public, especially Christians and also tourism is affected. International and Indian tourists, hotels and restaurants and business activity is also badly affected and also the celebration of Easter. Goan families cooking beef on these occasions are robbed of beef dishes.
The government should supply beef to the traditional meat sellers immediately.”
