Applications to run Fair Price shops

PANJIM: Applications are invited from interested parties to run fair price shops in the Khorlim in Mapusa and in the village of Tivim, viz Co-Operative societies of educated unemployed, registered co-op. Societies, educated unemployed, Scheduled Caste/Tribes, freedom fighter, physically handicapped and others having spacious premises for handling and storing PDS and non PDS commodities and who are financially sound with reasonable business to run a Fair price Shop may apply.
In case of Co-op societies of educated unemployed the majority of members should necessarily be educated unemployed and should be on the live register of Employment Exchange for minimum two years and the age limit of each member should be within 18 to 35 years.
The educated unemployed should have passed SSCE through any recognized school in Goa State and should be in the live register of the Employment Exchange for minimum 2 years and should be within the age limit of 18 to 35 years.  Besides he/she should be completely free from encumbrance of studies. No member of family definition being father/mother/spouse, unmarried sons/daughter and unmarried brother/sister living in the same undivided family should have authorization to run the fair price shop in the State.
The application should reach to the office of the Mamlatdar of Bardez Goa on or before April 4, 2015.
