PANJIM: Karnataka Water Resource Minister D K Shivakumar on Wednesday said, the Mahadayi Water Dispute Tribunal has not done justice to Karnataka, and his government is in consultation with legal experts regarding the next course of action.
“We will go to a higher court to get justice. We are consulting legal and technical experts, to make sure that stronger arguments are presented before the court to make sure that Karnataka gets its rightful share of water from the Mahadayi basin,” he said.
The minister was speaking to media persons while on his way to Kankumbi in Belagavi district, to take stock of the water available at Kalasa.
