Thoughts for all souls day

I have come across different views about ‘Soul’ and ‘Death’ which I place before my gentle readers. Genesis 2:7 states, “The Lord God formed man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.” Therefore, many believe that when the soul separates from the body, the body goes to earth — in grave, in the sea or turn to dust of ashes and the soul goes to air. But this is not true as air was already there for birds to fly above the earth across the firmament of the heavens on the fifth day of creation. And on the sixth day God created man by breathing into his nostrils the “breath of life”. So, we see that the “breath of life” is not the same as the regular air we breathe. Here God gives the breath to create. This breath is the special, life-giving power of God which makes the body a functioning organism.
Ecclesiastes 12:7 says that the …“the spirit returns to God who gave it.”
And according to dictionary, ‘Soul’…. is widely believed to survive in some form after death.” Also the law of energy states that energy is never created or destroyed but it can only change its forms. Therefore, millions believe that ‘the breath of life’ into the nostrils of Adam has no death or end as it is the divine spark of Source Energy — God. But the Bible texts settle this in Matthew 10:28.which I quote “… do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul; rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.” By this clear statement, the soul can die and will die in the fires of hell. Therefore, it cannot be immortal.
Genesis 2:7 states, “The Lord God formed man … and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life.” This being so, a few ask, how come that the ‘Soul’ as a spark of the divine within the body — a pure godly ‘breath of life’ turn impure and corrupt? Many answer this that it is because the soul, with God given free will, in association of the mind plays its role of desires and vices through human body and so, it gets stained and becomes impure.
Men of reason say, ‘Death’ is a necessity. It is a balancing act arranged by Nature’s building design. Consequently, if there is no death but only birth that is only addition and multiplication without subtraction, this planet will simply flood with unmanageable numbers. There will be shortages of all necessities of life, inadequacies in all infrastructural facilities and life will become unliveable. There will be chaos and ultimate collapse of the world order. So, nature planned her own way to do the balancing act and introduced the phenomenon called death.
