PANJIM: The five-day Budget session 2014 of Goa assembly will begin from March 3 while the Budget 2014-15 is expected to be taken up on March 5 evening.
After the Governor’s Address to the Assembly, the Assembly will be adjourned till 2.30 pm. The Secretary is to present a copy of the Governor’s Address on the table of the House after it reassembles.
After transacting formal business if any, the Assembly will be adjourned for the day.
The first session is slated to be held from March 3 to March 7.
The session will start on all days at 11.30 am, with lunch break between 1 pm to 2.30 pm while evening session will start at 2.30 pm with tea break from 4 pm to 4.30 pm.
The house will sit normally till 6 pm. Tuesday will witness questions on
personnel, ARD, general administration, civil aviation, airport, housing. While Wednesday will witness questions on public works, transport & river navigation, non-conventional energy resources, co-operation, factories & boilers, craftsmen training and the Budget in the evening.
Finance will be taken up along with labour on Thursday.
The last day, Friday will witness questions on education, public grievances, law, judiciary, town and country planning and industries.
