PANJIM: The Tourism Department has notified the Tourist Trade Support (Working Capital Interest Subvention) Scheme 2021.
The State government has also notified the Goa Victim Compensation (Fourth Amendment) Scheme 2021 and the scheme to provide financial assistance to the members of the Scheduled Tribes (ST) under the Tribal Sub Plan.
Regarding the Tourist Trade Support scheme, the Tourism Department talks about how the tourism stakeholders have suffered due to the pandemic and the difficulties they have faced in meeting their operating expenses.
As per the scheme, the department will reimburse interest up to a maximum of 5% on Working Capital Loans (WLC) amounting to a maximum of Rs 25 lakh for 6 months in one single claim.
