PONDA: The Police on Tuesday arrested one Sarvesh Prabhakar Gaonkar accused of hill cutting using explosives at Wadi Talaualim Panchayat after his anticipatory bail application filed was dismissed by the court.

The Police had registered a case against him under Section 286,336 of IPC and 17 A of TCP Act and Section 5 of Explosive Substances Act.
“A resident of Wadi Talaulim itself, the accused has been remanded to four days of police custody,” said PI Vijaykumar Chodankar.
