CALANGUTE: Nerul Sports Club got the better of Guardian Angel Sports Club, Savordem 3-2 via the tie-breaker to book their place in the finals of 4th Rusi Daver memorial inter-village football tournament organized by Adarsh Yuvak Sangh, at Saligao ground, Friday.
The teams played attackingly but their forwards failed to find the net at full time.
Nerul kept their nerves in the shoot-out as Sainath Kalangutkar, Atish Gaonkar and Ritesh Gaonkar scored while Elson Fernandes and S Shaikh found the net for Guardian Angel.
Nerul will lock horns with hosts Adarsh Yuvak Sangh in the finals on Sunday
