SOLVA -RAIA: Fr Agnelo Youth Sports Club, Paroda outscored Don Bosco Oratory Fatorda 8-7 via the tie-breaker to move into the final of the 49th Custodio Memorial football trophy, organised by Raia Sporting Club, at village panchayat ground, Raia on Saturday.

Fatorda midfielder Maxwell Furtado opened the score-line for Fatorda with a placement shot off Francis Andrade’s assist in the seventh minute. Paroda striker Joseph Dias’ move was foiled by Fatorda defender Roque Borges in the tenth minute.
It was Fatorda striker Clencio Pinto after foxing Paroda defenders Benzu Clement and Crimson Fernandes netted the second goal with a powerful shot in the 26th minute.
Paroda striker Joseph Dias’ moves were foiled by Fatorda defenders Alfred Noronha and Roque Borges in the 31st and 35th minutes respectively. Fatorda striker Fancis Andrade’s move was foiled by the defence line of Paroda.
Refree David gave marching orders to Jaison Dias of Paroda in the 60th minute.
Cyril Dias of Paroda pulled a goal back in the 64th minute. Three minutes later, Joel Furtado made it 2-2.
In the tie-breaker Fr Agnelo Youth Sports Club Paroda proved to be better shooters.
