Milagres S.C. Mapusa prevailed over Sangolda Lightning 9-8 via the sudden death in Rajasthan Marbles Trophy 2009 football tournament organized by Saligao United, Saligao at Dr. Gustavo Monteiro Stadium, Candolim on Wednesday. The teams were level 1-1 at full time.
It was Sangolda Lightning who took the lead through Sarvanand Naik while Alvito Fernandes found the equalizer for Milagres S.C. Mapusa.
In the tie-breaker, Madhu, Francis, Mahesh, Wilber, Alvito, Norwin, Seby and Prashant were on target for Milagres S.C. while Sarvanand, Agnelo, Ramesh, Christopher, Joseph, Devraj and Alex converted to Sangolda Lightning.
