The India debut concert of Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, earlier scheduled to take place in New Delhi on May 23, 2026, has officially been cancelled. Organisers confirmed the development after receiving security-related instructions from authorities.
In a statement posted on Instagram, organisers White Fox said they were disappointed to call off the event after months of planning and preparation. They added that the safety and well-being of concertgoers and citizens remained their highest priority.

The organisers also confirmed that full refunds would be provided to all valid ticket holders who purchased through District, with the refund process expected to be completed within five to seven business days. Discussions are reportedly ongoing with the artist’s team regarding a possible rescheduled event.
This marks the second setback for Ye’s India concert. The show was initially scheduled for March 29 but was postponed due to geopolitical tensions and broader concerns linked to the US-Iran situation before being rescheduled for May 23.
The cancellation also reflects wider disruptions surrounding Ye’s international touring plans. Several concerts across Europe and the UK have reportedly been cancelled or blocked amid logistical difficulties and controversies linked to the rapper’s past remarks.
Despite the setbacks, Ye continues to remain one of the most influential figures in modern music. Over the years, he has released critically acclaimed albums including 808s & Heartbreak, Graduation and The College Dropout. His latest album, Bully, released in March 2026, features collaborations with Travis Scott, CeeLo Green and Andre Troutman.
