The
Catechetical Apostolate of St Thomas Parish in Aldona celebrated the feast of the
Nativity of Blessed Virgin Mary on Sunday. The Mass was held in the morning
which was celebrated by the Parish Priest Fr. Thomas Lobo followed by a program
to honour all mothers at the church hall. The theme for the program was “Go and
do likewise” (Lk 10:37)
The
program began with the welcome song performed by the Poilem Pustok children
followed by the Action songs by Dusrem Pustok. A special cake cutting ceremony
was held which was represented by all selected mothers of parish. A special
tribute message was rendered by Kiara Lobo. A moral skit was performed by the
Satvem Pustok highlighting various common issues and how mothers are related to
it. The mothers present enjoyed the lovely program performed by the children.
Programs such as Welcome song, Action song. Folk Dance, Skit, made the mothers
day special.
