He is a home grown boy. He used to be like one of them. Till he
rose up the ranks and now
proudly wears the FC Goa jersey, doing his state so proud. But when Mandar Rao
Desai dropped into their camp organised by Junior Herald, the joy of the
budding footballers of the Forca Goa foundation, knew no bounds.
His presence and motivational talk on
healthy eating and keeping an aim in life made the session a great one.
Children enjoyed learning various important things on football and had an
interactive session with Mandar, easily one of FC Goa’s biggest stars and
certainly the biggest local lad in the talent studded FC Goa line up.
Mandar was presented a memento by Junior
Herald as a token of appreciation. He later presented all the children who
attended the camp with participation certificates.
