In a move aimed at supporting local art, culture and musical traditions, Dr. Sanjay Korgaonkar distributed musical instruments for use at the Brahmin Temple in Korgaon Hiroji Wada.
The instruments, including taal (cymbals), peti (harmonium) and tabla, were provided to support musical activities within the temple premises and encourage the continuation of traditional music practices in the local community.
The initiative reflects a commitment to preserving the region’s cultural heritage while providing resources to those involved in devotional and traditional music.
Mr Umesh Talvanekar, Mr Mayur Parab, Mr Naresh Korgaonkar, Mr Vasant Naik and Mr Krishna Joshi were present during the distribution programme.
The initiative is expected to contribute towards keeping traditional music and cultural practices alive among the local community.
