Dabolim Airport will be functional as usual even after the operations of Mopa international airport if our Chief Minister of Goa is to be believed but the million dollar question is, will flights for civilian use take off and land from/at Dabolim after the completion and operation of Mopa airport? The so called South Goa’s most weighed politician from Varca looks like forced to be happy with the chief minister’s statement and all Saxtikars are aware why the great Churchill cannot be unhappy? God knows the truth and time will prove it.
The state’s power over our six rivers will remain intact even after been declared as national waterways as per Parrikar and the Goemkarwadi party accepts the nationalisation of rivers with the open heart. Good to hear that the renowned architect Charles Correa was of the view that state should make use of the rivers for navigational purpose to reduce the pressure on roads as told by Parrikar. So now we intend to increase the pressure on the rivers to reduce the pressure on the roads for personal gains of all the so called big people of our country? Are we aware that there is something called as marine life in these rivers? Does this earth only belong to humans? Looks like we humans have sold our conscious against the nature and the so-called EIA is just a paper exercise.
Can we believe in such people who support what they had opposed when in opposition like they did with the casinos in Mandovi? One of them, named Lucky 7 has become a famous tourist attraction on the Miramar beach. Is it an official tourist attraction? The beach been dredged to make her afloat and the world is watching Goa for such ugly acts and that too during broad day light. A very sad reality.
Goan politics is very strange, they allow to destroy thousands of trees to make way for what not and advise people to plant trees. Dallals turn out to friends when it comes to “kodel”. Once coal pollution turns out to be present day’s healthy fragrance. Mopa airport rejection becomes no point in objecting henceforth because it’s almost a reality now. Any way they are the powerful people, they make and break the laws and they know the best but sadly their best is worst for Goem, Goemkar, Goemkarponn.
Last but not the least, we are all here to go but the natural gifts of the creator to Goa will remain forever if we protect them. Enough has been destroyed; now I beg of you, the so-called people in power to spare the little natural remaining for our future generations to come. We are afraid to come on the roads and fight for Goa because you guys have powers to falsely trap us and if people of working class gets trapped how our families will survive? I join my hands and beg of you, stop destructing and selling of my Goa. Touch your heart if you have one and ask yourself, am I a Goan? If so, you will never ever play dirty in the name of Goem, Goemkar, Goemkarponn. These three words are sacred for a niz Goemkar and thy who play with these sacred words will be cursed.
