BJP has fallen short of expectations

Not all is well with the Parsekar government in Goa. Laxmikant Parsekar seems to be under the remote control of Delhi. He has already made U-turns on many of his earlier promises assured at the time of taking the reins of administration in his hand. With bickering brewing up in the present dispensation, it is doubtful that he will complete his term successfully.
MGP is trying to make a comeback and is striving to increase the tally of seats eyeing the 2017 assembly elections. It is not yet clear what is in the mind of MGP leader Ramkrishna Dhavalikar.
A full mandate was given to the BJP to come to power with the hope of good governance. But the Party has fallen short of people’s expectations, in the State and at the Centre. Religious fanaticism is growing and fear is creeping in the hearts of the Christian minority.
