Cartoonist R K Laxman will be solely missed. His ‘Common Man’ was a true depiction of the Indian common citizen. I had the honour of studying political science with textbooks containing his cartoons. But later batches did not have the privilege, thanks to the unnecessary political controversy regarding certain cartoons, which led to the whole lot of cartoons being deleted from subsequent editions.
