During the entire three-day visit of the US President Barcak Obama to India what was conspicuous, and probably of significance in the Indo-US relationship in the long run, is the chemistry between the India Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Barack Obama that was on display. The friendly gesture between the two leaders was very much evident at the “chai pe charcha” at the Hyderabad House where Narendra Modi personally prepared a cup of tea for the visiting dignitary. There were also several warm hugs between the two leaders. It is these little gestures, which at times may seem insignificant, which has a profound influence on the relationship between world leaders and on the talk that follow. President Obama has said that he was overwhelmed by the welcome accord by the Indian government. This is indeed another feather in the Modi-led BJP government.
