Just as I read the letter “Burglar’s Day Out” comes the shocking news of a double murder in Vasco. The law and order has totally collapsed in Goa under the new chief minister. Herald edit dated Jan 29 “Feigning Ignorance Amounts to Failure” has rightly pointed out the failure of the government in taking action against crime and illegalities in the state. If the government is not serious in protecting the citizens then it’s time that citizens show the government its place and the best way to do it is at the Panjim by-elections.
