Congratulations to Herald for the heartrending story where the GMC declared a 19-year-old teenager with visible serious injuries as ‘fit’. Going through the stories in newspapers these days one is forced to ask: Where is Goa moving? Without a proper inquiry how can the police thrash up a person? Don’t they have humanness in them?
Look at the situation the boy is in – a student who worked in his spare time to support the family, preparing for his Class 12 exam. What about his lost academic year? The government should take serious action and provide protection and financial support to the family.
