It is a very common site in any part of this state, that, private/KTC buses plying on routes within the state always stop to collect or drop the passengers, almost in the middle of the road. This not only causes traffic jam but also puts a very bad impression on the tourists visiting Goa. It is suggested to RTO/Traffic police to designate senior persons as Traffic Nodal Officers to issue challan to the erring traffic violators. And the traffic violators should pay the fine imposed within a stipulated fixed time period or the driving licenses should be cancelled.
Hope the RTO/Traffic Police take this as a suggestion or implement any other stringent measures so as to sort out this scenario.
