Goans lets fight together

By seeing the way that anybody and every body filling up the nomination form for the forth coming Assembly election it seems like a joke where hundreds of candidates are contesting the election. These people are making a mockery of the election. At one end we consider this election a very serious issue where the fate of all Goan people, the future of their children depends. At the same time our own identity is at risk and other end anybody who feels, stands for the election. Some are there just to spoil others hopes. Still few are there to have a deal with others. So election is like business for most of the people where the big deals are done at the cost of Goan people.
The deal to loot Goa and its beautiful nature, the deal which makes the very own Goan an outsider in his own motherland. This needs to stop and we all have to work towards it. And when is the better time other than this. To do this lets bring all candidates of a particular constituency at one platform and lets ask their views/stand on all sensitive issues relating to our Mankulle Goa.
In this debate I would request the NGOs like GMM, Goa Foundation who has done a lot of efforts and still doing to save Goa to join with the people and give a clear picture about all the parties and their candidates in order to cast their vote on Feb 4. We always complain that we don’t have a choice to select but now we have to make the choice. The choice of the people, the choice for Goa. In the past 5 years all Goan people along with the NGOs have fought lots of social battles against the ruling party. Many times we succeeded and sometimes we did not. But this is a golden opportunity to elect good visionary leaders. If we have no choice than we will have to make them to change their ways. To do this we don’t have enough time but atleast we can try and do the best.
Remember success does not come easy. We have to earn it. Let us bring a hope to all Goan people for the betterment of Goa and the future of their children. Let’s not fall prey for their donations, sponsors for tournaments, tiatr and so on. These things we can afford if we have good health to work. Let’s not dance to the music which the parties and their candidates are playing for us. Let’s make them dance to our notes.
