Old wine in new bottle

The kindle of hope to save Goa and its ancestral cultures and customs has been lit by assuring us in the manifestos handed out by the AAP. Although we have been duped and given false promises by previous political parties we have to be vigilant by keeping track of the development that has been promised to us.
My dear Goenkaramno, be very smart not to fall for the same false promises made by the same political leaders who couldn’t succeed in making the painted scenario a reality.
We have been hurt many a time and we don’t want to be hurt again, our cultures, our education system, our infra structures and even our assets are in great jeopardy if we elect the same personalities back to power.
Let’s not forget what we have gone through, casinos, Mopa Airport, MoI and our dream of the Special Status for Goa which has been the highlights throughout the ruling term of these old parties has haunted us. We need leaders who can understand our education system which is the priority to see our children in an advanced future.
We need leaders who are qualified and who understand the day to day challenges of the common man. We have been ruled by some Leaders who didn’t have proper educational back ground and where we the educated and qualified were in a situation to beg these same leaders for jobs. Let us not forget our dignity, we will not have to bow down to someone when we can secure what is rightfully ours and that we can meet only when we choose the right candidate and bring him to power.
To mislead and create confusion in the minds of the common man, some of the same old parties have come out with manifestos promising us the future that was unattainable during their tenures, bringing these parties back to power would be like bottling the old wine with a new labeling.
Let’s come together as Goans and bring the change that we deserve in the coming elections to preserve our identity and culture of our ancestors.
