The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to announce the Class 12 board examination results 2026 this week, with anticipation growing among lakhs of students across the country. Speculation over the result date intensified after DigiLocker displayed a “Class 12 Result Coming Soon” banner, hinting that the declaration could be imminent.The CBSE Class 12 examinations for Science, Commerce and Humanities streams were conducted from February 17 to April 10, 2026. This year, the board reportedly used its upgraded On-Screen Marking (OSM) evaluation system extensively, which is believed to have accelerated the assessment and moderation process compared to previous years.
Although CBSE has not officially confirmed the exact result date and time, several media reports suggest that the Class 12 results are likely to be declared during the second week of May. Students are advised to avoid unofficial rumours and rely only on verified platforms such as CBSE Official Website, CBSE Results Portal and DigiLocker for authentic updates.

Once released, students will be able to check their scores online using their roll number, school number and admit card ID. Digital marksheets and certificates, including migration and skill certificates, will also be made available through DigiLocker and the UMANG app.CBSE is also expected to announce details regarding rechecking, revaluation and supplementary examinations soon after the declaration of results.
