The Bar Council of India suspended Kishore and issued a show-cause notice. Prime Minister Narendra Modi condemned the attack, praising the CJI’s commitment to justice. The outburst came amid controversy over remarks the Chief Justice made regarding the restoration of a beheaded Vishnu idol at Khajuraho.
