Calangute: In a bizzare case of casino rioting, 15 unknown persons were arrested for creating ruckus at La Calypso casino, Baga-Calangute earlier this morning.
As per the complaint, the group of men barged in with hockey sticks and began
destroying properties at the casino. ‘The rioters are arrested and medical aid
will be provided to the injured’ a senior police officer said. The Deputy
Superintendant of Police of the area, Edwin Colaco told the media that
‘The Calangute police have registered a case and further investigation is on.’
