CURCHOREM: Eighteen candidates on Tuesday submitted their nomination paper before the returning officer and Quepem Deputy Collector Nilesh Daigodkar to contest Curchorem-Cacora Municipal Council (CCMC) elections.
For the 15 council members of CCMC, Pramod Damu Naik filed his nomination from ward no.1 Bagwada-Shirford, Felix Fernandes from Khamamoll (ward no. 2), Salgaonkar Jetin Ratnaker from Morailem (ward no. 3), Jitender Jayawant Khandekar from Pontemoll (ward no. 4), Siddhesh Vinayak Bhise from Carriamoddi (ward no. 5), Tony Coutinho and Kingslee Coutinho from Pongirwal (ward no. 6), Anil Jayawant Sasolkar, Kishan Krishna Rajendra Sawant and Pratik Pundalik Prabhudessai from Madehgal (ward no. 7), Gloria Joanit Caitana Fernandes and Yolanda Pereira from Vodlemoll (ward no. 8), Chandrakala Sudhir Naik Dessai New ward (ward no. 9), Pundalik Babai Ghadi from Ghadiwada-Kakoda (ward no. 11), Jaya Anay Sawant Dessai from Sasnamoddi (ward no. 12), Vishwas Pandu Sawant and Vivida Vishwas Sawant from Ghotmorod-Bansai (ward no. 13) and Supriya Naneshwar Naik from Khandiwada (ward no. 15) filed their respective nominations.
