BICHOLIM: Taking serious cognizance of the accident on Thursday at Bicholim, in which a businessman and his son were injured, the local police initiated action against errant two-wheeler riders this week and fined around 25 students for rash and negligent riding and not for possessing licence and valid documents.
Bicholim traffic PI Sudesh Narvekar said that police have decided to treat the issue of rash and negligent driving seriously. Police sources said that each student was fined Rs 1050.
