CALANGUTE: Three tourists from Bihar were saved by lifeguards at Anjuna Beach on New Year’s Day.
According to reports, the trio entered in a non-swim zone when the lifeguard requested the tourists to shift at a safer zone, but they refused to pay attention to lifeguard’s request. After some time, the trio experienced an inward pull due to a rip current which dragged. Lifeguards rushed towards the tourists and secured them one by one and brought them safely to the shore.
