PANJIM: Forest Minister Rajendra Arlekar Friday announced that Goa Forest Department will host the first ever Bird Festival in Goa for three days from November 11 to 13.
Accordingly, the logo and website was unveiled today, at the Range Forest Office, at Campal-Panjim. Addressing the media, Rajendra Arlekar said Goa ranks 13th in India with 432 recorded bird species and mentioned that during the three-day festival, bird watching in Bondla, Mollem and Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary in Charao will be arranged.
