3 women rescued

Anjuna police on Wednesday evening raided an Ayurvedic and Homeopathic centre at Anjuna and rescued three women who were allegedly involved in a prostitution racket.
According to Mapusa SDPO DySP Sammy Tavares, police received a tip-off about a prostitution racket being operated in the guise of a massage parlour.
A police team led by PI Ramesh Gaonkar raided the centre and rescued three women in their mid-twenties who hail from Margao, Nachinola and Kerala. An offence under Prevention of Prostitution Act has been registered and police is investigating the case.
