Four persons were saved from drowning in separate incidents at Calangute and Baga during the weekend.
According to reports, Ravindra Kumawat (20) and Bhupendra Kumawat (18), both from Rajasthan, Girish (25) of Bangalore and Saurobh Babaji Shinde (16) from Pune, were saved by Drishti Surf lifeguards. SLSG lifeguards Prakash Gaonkar and Shekhar Gawas saved the lives of Ravindra Kumawat and Bhupendra Kumawat at Baga beach with the help of rescue tubes.
Lifeguard Nagesh Dholye saved Girish with the help of lifeguards Nagesh and Surat, while SLSG lifeguards Shailesh Kalangutkar and Siddesh Dhargalkar rescued Saurobh Bagaji Shinde at Calangute beach.
