A 42-year-old man was killed after a dumper collided with a car near Delta Resort at Chorla Ghat on Tuesday night.
The deceased was identified as Shyam alias Ravalnath Tuljai, a resident of Wadgaon.

Following the collision, Tuljai was trapped inside the mangled car. Rescue personnel used a cutter to extricate him from the vehicle.
The Khanapur Police have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances leading to the accident.
