PANJIM: In wake of the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) cancelling Class X examinations owing to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and announcing a one-day Class X Board exam for the students opting for Science stream and Diploma courses, Aakash Educational Services Limited (AESL), the national leader in test preparatory services, has decided to conduct tests and discussions with the students of Goa State Board addressing syllabus of science and Maths free of cost to help them prepare better for the exam.
AESL will conduct a series of six tests for the students of Goa State Board who are willing to study science and diploma courses in their Class XI and XII. The tests will be conducted starting June 25. Students may register for the test series by contacting the nearest Aakash branch.
Test papers will be prepared in accordance with the objective pattern as guided by the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education. After each test, a detailed discussion of that test with all students will be conducted to help them address their queries and strengthen their weaker sections to help them score maximum in the aforesaid test.
Owing to the surge in the active cases during the second wave of COVID-19, the Government of India decided to cancel ICSE and CBSE Board examination in 2021. In addition, many States have decided to call off the State Board exams thus relieving the students and parents from the anxiety, which occurred due to the uncertainty of exams.
Commenting on the conduction of test series for Goa students, Amit Singh Rathore, regional director, Aakash Educational Services Limited said, “The pandemic has disrupted the dynamics of the education system. The upheaval was particularly intense for students. However, in line with our Student First approach, we are dedicated to provide as much support as possible to the students to assist them shine in their career. By conducting preparatory tests for all students of State Board of Goa free of cost, our objective is to help them revise important chapters before the aforesaid exams and prepare better without any worry.”
