Acupuncture camp inaugurated

Health Minister Laxmikant Parsekar on Tuesday inaugurated a medical natural acupuncture camp organised by Sanjay Higher Secondary Section at Delta Centre, Porvorim.

PORVORIM: Health Minister Laxmikant Parsekar on Tuesday inaugurated a medical natural acupuncture camp organised by Sanjay Higher Secondary Section at Delta Centre, Porvorim.

During the 15-day camp, guidance of Medical Natural Acupuncturist, Dr David Lujan, who penned six books on natural acupuncture and has treated about 3 lakh patients the world over, will be available.

Free medical services will be provided to the special students of Sanjay School, their parents and guardians, etc.

Speaking on the occasion, Parsekar said acupuncture has its origin in India. “It is an old medical system of Aurveda and has all the acupuncture points very clearly defined,” said Parsekar.

Founder of Natural Acupuncture Professor, Dr David Lujan, informed that in our body, there is systematic flow of energy for various reasons, may be an accident, trauma or abuse of substance or an emotional shock, etc.

Sanjay Higher Secondary Section Principal Anecia Viegas welcomed the guest and also proposed the vote of thanks.
