HERALD REPORTER
PANJIM, MARCH 19
All eyes will be on the crucial meeting of Congress-NCP to be held in Mumbai which has been convened to resolve the political imbroglio threatening the stability of the nearly three-year old Digambar Kamat ministry, a few days before the State Budget has to be passed.
Highly placed sources said that All India Congress Committee (AICC) General Secretary in-charge of Goa desk B K Hariprasad will arrive in Mumbai on Saturday for a meeting with his counterpart of NCP.
The sources said that Digambar Kamat and President of Goa Pradesh Congress Committee Subhash Shirodkar have also been asked by Congress high command to attend the meeting on the week-end.
It couldn’t be confirmed whether G-7 MLAs will attend the meeting.
