In a comprehensive raid
conducted by the Anjuna Police, one accused identified as Bhattu Subhash Thaku
was arrested for illegal possession of drugs worth ₹1.15 lakh. The raid was
conducted on Wednesday, 7th August 2024. A case has been registered under the
NDPS Act, and further investigation is ongoing.
On
Wednesday, 7th August 2024, a raid was conducted near Bank of Baroda, Anjuna, Bardez,
Goa, by Anjuna Police. During
the raid, one individual was arrested for possessing illegal drugs,
specifically Charas, worth ₹1,15,000. The
accused was identified as Bhattu Subhash Thaku, aged 30 years old, a resident
of Hyderabad. Police
apprehended him at Mushafir Lodge, Anjuna, Bardez, Goa.

investigation is in progress, led by LPSI Leesha Kharbe under the supervision
of Akshat Kaushal, IPS SP North Porvorim, Sandesh Chodankar, SDPO Mapusa, and
