As part of the ongoing investigation into the deadly Arpora nightclub fire, Anjuna police on Friday summoned and questioned three members of the Arpora Village Panchayat.
Those brought to the Anjuna Police Station for questioning were panchayat members Vinanti Morajkar and Stephanie Fernandes, along with Deputy Sarpanch Sushma Nagvekar. Police sources said the questioning was carried out to ascertain facts related to permissions, compliance, and the functioning of the establishment linked to the case.
