MAPUSA: Condemning the attack on Animal Rescue Squad chief Amrut Singh, Gau Raksha Samiti chief Hanumant Parab and animal activist Vasudev Zarekar, the Rashtriya Hindu Andolan demanded stringent action against the culprits.
In the meeting held in front of Mapusa market, Hindu Jan Jagruti Samiti Goa State coordinator Dr Manoj Solanki stated that whichever party comes to power, looks after the protection of its vote bank, particularly the minorities, due to which the government is hesitating to ban cow slaughter.
Goa Shiv Sena chief Ramesh Naik said the State government should not teat the patience of animal right activists. It may be recalled that Amrut Singh, Parab and Zarekar were attacked with bamboo batons on February 12.
