MAPUSA: Calangute police arrested a 22-year-old Abu Talib Sarkar, a native of West Bengal for possessing ganja at Calangute.
According to Calangute police, during a raid on Tuesday night, the accused was found possessing ganja worth Rs 3,500.
PI Jivba Dalvi said that on information that the accused would be coming to sell drugs Near Palmarinha Hotel in Calangute, he formed a team, raided the place and arrested the accused. The accused is booked under Section 20 (b)(ii)(A) of NDPS Act.
