Bengaluru: In a tragic incident that has sent shockwaves through the tech community, a young couple from Telangana died by suicide in a heartbreaking sequence of events at their residence in Bengaluru.
Bhanu Chander Reddy Kunta (32), a software engineer originally from Siddipet, was found dead after allegedly hanging himself inside a room of their apartment on Monday. His wife, Bibi Shaziya Siraj (31), a tech professional employed with IBM, reportedly discovered the situation after noticing the room locked from inside.
According to reports, Shaziya repeatedly knocked on the door but received no response. Growing concerned, she alerted neighbours and building security personnel. The door was eventually forced open, revealing Bhanu unresponsive inside.
Moments after the discovery, in a devastating turn of events, Shaziya reportedly jumped from the 17th floor of the same residential complex, leading to her death.
