Bicholim Police Arrest Logistics Officer for Misappropriating 21,000 kg of Used Cooking Oil Worth ₹21.63 Lakh

Bicholim police have arrested Saquib Shaikh, a resident of Valpoi and logistics officer at a Harvalem-based company warehouse, for allegedly misappropriating 21,000 kg of used cooking oil (UCO) valued at ₹21.63 lakh.

According to the complaint, Shaikh is accused of fraudulently dispatching the UCO from the Goa warehouse to Mumbai, mixing large quantities of water to artificially inflate the stock and conceal the theft.
