Birch Fire Case: Mapusa Court Grants Conditional Bail to Two Managers, Denies Relief to General Manager

The Mapusa Additional Sessions Court on Monday granted conditional bail to two accused managers — Priyanshu Thakur and Rajveer Singhania — in connection with the Birch fire case, while rejecting the bail application of Vivek Singh, the General Manager.

According to court sources, the bail granted to Thakur and Singhania is subject to strict conditions, which they must comply with during the course of the investigation and trial. However, the court found no grounds at this stage to extend similar relief to Vivek Singh, citing the seriousness of the allegations and his role as the General Manager.
