Newly elected BJP national president Nitin Nabin has directed the party’s Goa unit to intensify outreach efforts among the state’s minority communities and persuade them to join the BJP, as part of a broader strategy to expand the party’s support base.
Nabin issued the directive during a key core committee meeting with the Goa BJP leadership, which lasted around 45 minutes. Drawing examples from the party’s performance in Assam and the northeastern states, he highlighted how focused outreach had helped the BJP gain wider acceptance among diverse sections of society.

He also asked the state unit to work towards ensuring that the BJP’s vote share in Goa touches 50 per cent in the upcoming elections, urging leaders to match or surpass the level of support the party received during the recent Lok Sabha polls.
The meeting focused on organisational strengthening, electoral strategy and expanding the party’s footprint across communities, with Nabin emphasising the need for sustained engagement at the grassroots level to achieve the ambitious targets.
