MARGAO: Margao police arrested a bus driver, Alvaro Furtado, 46, from Borda, Margao for molesting a minor school girl.
According to police, the vehicle driven by accused was hired by a school to transport the students for parade practice at Fatorda on Friday when the accused at 1.30 pm on Friday alleged molested the girl. The principal of the school has filed a complaint with Margao police who immediately arrested accused under section 354(A)(1) IPC, section 4 of Goa Children Act and sections 8 and 6 of POSCO. Further investigation is in progress.
