Buffalo Injured in Road Accident on Navelim–Nuvem Highway Rescued by Police and Animal Welfare Teams

Margao, June 24: A buffalo injured after being hit by a car on the Navelim–Nuvem highway was successfully rescued through the coordinated efforts of the Margao Town Police, the District Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (DSPCA) South, and the Dhyaan Foundation.

According to sources, the animal sustained injuries after the accident and was found stranded along the highway. Upon receiving information, personnel from the Margao Town Police Station, along with representatives of DSPCA South and the Dhyaan Foundation, rushed to the spot and carried out the rescue operation.
