Canacona Police have registered an FIR following the alleged theft of eight Amaron lithium batteries and an alternator from an Indus Ltd. tower at Bhatpal, Canacona.
According to the complaint, the equipment was allegedly stolen by unknown persons sometime between June 21 and July 6, 2026.

The stolen items, which were installed at the telecom tower, are estimated to be worth around ₹63,000, resulting in a corresponding loss to the company.
Canacona Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation to identify those responsible for the alleged theft and recover the stolen equipment.
