Canine nuisance

I have been a regular visitor to the most beautiful Patnem Beach in Canacona for several years now. There have been many changes. Some are good whereas some are bad. We have security guards that roam up and down the beach in their ridiculously dark uniforms and keep away beggars, sellers, and touts. I think this is unique in Goa. Unfortunately, they also chase the cows away.
I have been witness and hear of complaints and attacks, by dogs, hasn’t anything been done about this problem? (not unique to this beach or Goa for sure)? These dogs have been biting, attacking, and scaring visitors away. Some may never think of returning again. Is this the image of Goa, you want to project?
They howl and bark all night. A good night’s sleep is impossible under such conditions. Most of these dogs do have owners, and it is their responsibility to ensure that there are no untoward incidents. Let us enjoy the beach as we should.
